Notes on Season Pass Purchases

  • Please note that the name, address, phone number, date of birth, and lift pass photo of all group members is required as part of the purchasing step.
  • The lift pass photo should be taken in a passport format; portrait orientation, with the face and upper body facing the camera and clearly visible, and hats/helmets, sunglasses, and goggles, etc. removed.
    If any registered information (including lift pass photos) are deemed as incorrect/inappropriate, please send us the correct information (photo/corrected details, etc.) by email, and your registered information will be updated.
    In such cases, a handling fee of 3,000 yen will be charged. Please note that if payment is not made, the lift pass issued will become invalid.
  • If you purchase a new season pass, it can be collected in-resort at a Skiosk® Ticket Machine.
  • If you purchase a season pass recharge, the printed details registered on your key card must be rewritten.
    Please go to the nearest ski ticket counter after you have used your lift pass for the first time in the season. The card must be reprinted within 3 days of activating your pass, after which period your lift pass will become invalid.
  • Online season passes can only be charged to the cards listed below.
    (Please note that key cards not listed here which are charged will not be valid.)

Notes on Prohibited Season Pass Use

  • The photo data you have registered will be printed on the key card when collected.
    Whenever you pass through the gate, your photo data will be displayed on the security monitor in the lift cab.
  • It is prohibited to intentionally deface or erase the photo, name, or other information printed on the key card.
  • Usage by other parties than the purchaser or the user registered at the time of purchase is prohibited (including lending, resale, etc.).
    If it is found that the lift pass is being used by someone other than the purchaser or the user registered at the time of purchase, the lift pass will be invalidated and collected in accordance with Article 6 of the Lift & Gondola Rules and Regulations.
    In addition, the amount equivalent to the lift pass and a surcharge of the same amount or less will be charged in accordance with Article 16.
  • Commercial use by snowsports instructors, backcountry guides, etc. is prohibited with this season pass. If commercial use is detected, the season pass will be invalidated in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of the Lift & Gondola Rules and Regulations.
  • Entry into off-limits areas, and dangerous acts that do not abide by the rules set forth by the ski area (Ski Area Safety Rules and Regulations) are prohibited. In the event of repeated violations of the prohibitions or other acts deemed malicious, the ski area patrol or staff will confiscate the lift pass on the spot and cancel the issuance of any subsequent key cards.
  • In case of loss or damage to the keycard, it can be reissued with a fee.
    Loss: After reporting the loss at the ticket counter, the lift pass will be reissued for a fee of 3,500 yen (including the cost of the key card). After being reissued, the fee will not be refunded in the event of the lost lift pass being found. (Identification or other proof of the purchaser's identity is required for reissue.)
    Damage: When returning a damaged key card to the ticket counter, it will be reissued for a fee of 500 yen for the key card.

Terms & Conditions

  • This online shop allows you to purchase HIRAFU + HANAZONO area passes.
    Please note that the Niseko United shuttle, Niseko Village Ski Resort, and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area are not covered by these passes.
  • All purchases of online lift passes are non-refundable and non-replaceable.
    Please check the details and purchase method carefully before purchasing. Once payment has been made, changes, cancellations or refunds will not be made for any reason, including illness, injury, transportation delays or cancellations, purchase errors, weather conditions, logistical constraints due to infectious disease (e.g. COVID-19), etc.
    Please be aware of this in advance.
  • The lift pass card is yours to keep and can be recharged. There is no return or refund of cards.
  • You can recharge a key card purchased at the Niseko United Online Shop with a HIRAFU + HANAZONO lift pass.
    Please note that you are unable to sign in with account information registered in the Niseko United Online Shop.
    If you wish to recharge a lift pass purchased from the Niseko United Online Shop, please register a new account / lift pass user in the Hirafu-Hanazono Online Shop.
  • Only one type of lift pass can be purchased on the card.
    If you purchase more than one type of lift pass at the same time (including HIRAFU + HANAZONO), the card will not function correctly.
    Please commence using the first lift pass purchased before purchasing another.
  • Lift passes are non-transferable, and resale of cards is prohibited.
  • If lift passes are damaged or lost, reissuing of the keycard has a fee of 2,500 yen.
  • Passes for preschoolers are free and their passes are not available online. Please apply for their lift pass at a lift ticket counter on the day.
    Preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when purchasing a lift ticket or boarding a lift.
  • Lift and gondola operations are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled without notice.
